To submit Spartan remote on Linux cluster configure windows machine:
Configure remote submition to the cluster
options –> preferences –> hosts –> new
Filled with following lines (be careful not to have spaces in the end).
beo03.unifr.ch
\\beo03.unifr.ch\SpartanShare
\\beo03.unifr.ch\spartan
/opt/cluster/spartan_share
Choose No
After first usage of Spartan could be that you need to close and open it again and open project.
If job is not return check cluster if job is not it error state. If yes use qdel to delete it.
Each user need to have the same username as for Windows and I need to create smbpasswd and smb share (apply by e-mail).
If you have problems check if you have access from your windows machine to:
\\beo03.unifr.ch\SpartanShare
and if you can create there files…
For admin:
- modify /etc/samba/smb.conf
- the same username as on AD
